| Located in the foot of Koyasan mountain, listed on the World Heritage, has flourished as a producing center of SAI-ORI (Chenille fabric) ever since the fabric first produced in Japan in Meiji-era (l868-1911).Koyaguchi district (Hashimoto city, Katsuragi town and Kudoyama town) has been known as the only producing center of the various kinds of pile fabric in Japan, as well as the unique producing center the fabrics in the world. KOYAGUCHI PILE is the unique 3-dimension-structured woolly fabric which interwoven or interknitted the pile yarn on the ground fabric.With natural fiber, synthetic fiber and the various functional fiber used, KOYAGUCHI PILE could have the any optional length of the pile yarn, various feeling and design through the facilities, technologies and process peculiar to the district. KOYAGUCHI PILE features less fallen yarn and less pilling, has been long used in amazingly so many fields such as the apparels, interior, cars, bedding, toys and industrial materials, for the products from a single place of origin, due to its warmness, the inimitable feeling and luxury.
